When choosing someone to help bring your vision to life, it’s essential that you and that someone are creatively on the same page. That’s how the proper magic comes about, I always think.
I live in a charming old cottage in Shropshire with my husband and two much-loved black labs. Professional floral design perfectly combines my twin passions of horticulture and fine art. My great-grandfather was Head Gardener at various incredible country estates in the 1920s and 30s. That passion for flowers and foliage has trickled down the family tree to various family members, especially me.
I fill it with old cottage favourites like foxglove, old-fashioned garden roses, lavender, sweet peas and dahlias. While I don’t grow to a commercial scale, my yield is usually healthy enough to top up my arrangements with fragrant herbs and stems from my own garden, a small unique personal touch that makes a delightful difference to both me and my clients.
It’s a rambling, bee-friendly haven that I try to spend as much time in as possible.
Your attention to detail and care showed throughout the buttonholes, bouquets, table decorations and Church. We received many compliments on how natural and striking they looked. Just what we wanted.
